Commis Chef - Michelin standard Gastropub - Oxfordshire - £20k - Live In Available


Are you an enthusiastic chef who wants to be part of a small kitchen team that is producing excellent high-end gastropub food in Oxfordshire, and learn from a extremely experienced chef, who has previously held senior positions in 2 Michelin star kitchens?


This stunning foodie inn, which previously held a Michelin star, has a new kitchen team in place, with an extremely talented and experienced head chef at the helm (ex-Hand and Flowers, Le Manor etc).


As a commis chef, you will assist the chef de parties in preparing their sections, working as an integral part of a small brigade of 6/7 chefs.


With the restaurant open 5 and a half days per week, you will work 4 and a half days - roughly 55 hours a week.


This is an incredible learning opportunity for someone who wants to develop and refine their culinary skillset without working in a traditional fine dining Michelin kitchen.


Applicants MUST have prior rosetted kitchen experience - salary on offer is £20k and staff accommodation is available on site for a very reasonable price.
