We have an incredibly rare and exciting opportunity for a talented Head Pastry Chef to lead the pastry team in one of the UK’s most innovative and creative kitchens, situated within a recently refurbished restaurant with rooms.

You will become part of a brigade of chefs who are pushing the boundaries of fine dining, making waves across the food industry with their impeccable and innovative cookery.

You will lead a small pastry team producing stunning desserts on both a la carte and tasting menus. You will have access to a bountiful kitchen garden, which constantly produces unique varieties of fruit, vegetables and herbs. The head chef also has a love of working with foraged ingredients, so this truly is an opportunity to expand your ingredient and flavour knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have excellent pastry skills, with experience running a pastry section in a 1 or 2 Michelin star kitchen. You will be a strong baker, with a eye for modern presentation and an appreciation of foraged ingredients & unique flavours.

In return you will be have the pleasure of living in one of the most stunning corners of the UK - the salary on offer is from £26-30k depending on experience, plus gratuities. Staff accommodation is available on site, and there are plenty of places nearby to find your own accommodation if preferred. The property is also easily accessible by public transport, with nearby train links to most major UK cities.
