This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious pastry chef to work in a small but ambitious restaurant with rooms in a stunning corner of the North West of England.
With 3 AA Rosettes already, this is a chance to join a kitchen brigade that is pushing for even greater accolades. You will be cooking modern, seasonal gastronomy, for up to 30 covers per service max within a team of roughly 7 chefs, working 50 hours across 5 days per week.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience running a pastry section in a minimum 2 AA Rosette fine dining kitchen environment. You will be confident with a range of modern pastry techniques, baking, and a creative/artisitic eye for presentation. You will be responsible for running the pastry section with the assistance of a Demi/Commis chef.
This restaurant is ideally situated within the stunning Yorkshire countryside, but close enough to large towns and cities of the North West. Staff accommodation is available and there is plenty of accommodation available nearby, although your own transport would be recommended.
Salary on offer is up to £24k basic, plus approximately £2k tips per year. You will become part of a small group of stunning restaurants with rooms, that already boasts 1 Michelin star. So there is great scope to progress and be part of an ambitious and forward-thinking food business.
