Sous Chef - Brand New Restaurant - North Cotswolds - £35k - Live in Available
Do you want to be involved in an exciting new restaurant opening, cooking in a state of the art, brand new kitchen, set within a stunning hotel estate in the Cotswolds?
You will be working as part of a brand new kitchen brigade producing delicious casual dining food, with a heavy seafood focus, that will comfortably be at a 2 or 3 Rosette level.
You will assist the head chef in managing a team of roughly 12 chefs - producing breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a restaurant capacity of roughly 100 covers per service.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a busy, high quality fresh food kitchen, ideally a busy gastropub, busy beachside kitchen, or hotel brasserie. You may have a background in high end fine dining and have a strong culinary skill set, but the ability to cope with a fast-paced, high-volume service is essential.
You will be cooking in a first-class kitchen environment, with a fantastic salary on offer, 45 hour contract with overtime paid in lieu, and plenty of training & development opportunities. Staff accommodation is available on-site.
