This newly opened restaurant boasts not only 5 acres of kitchen garden but also it's own bakery, dairy, meat aging and curing room and even a micro brewery - if you're into local produce this is as good as it gets!
The 65 cover restaurant is the casual dining option of one of the North West most exciting new gastronomic venues. The state of the art open kitchen serves a reasonably priced and accessible menu in a relaxed and welcoming environment. There is a full vegetarian menu, kids menu and good value fixed price option for lunch.
Though the food is diner friendly, it draws not only on the fantastic range of on-site and local produce but also on the technical expertise of the Michelin starred chef-patron.
We are looking for a strong sous chef to join the team. This is gastronomic casual dining, so you will need not only excellent technical skills, but also the ability to work at pace.
You should be a strong kitchen manager, able to lead a happy and efficient team in the "on show" environment of the open kitchen.
You will need to demonstrate a real love of gastronomy, some strong rosette or Michelin starred experience and the desire to join and contribute to a small but growing business which aims to offer an exceptional experience to all of its diners.
In return we are able to offer a basic salary of £24 - £28k depending on experience, plus £5k service and the opportunity to become part of one of the most exciting new projects in the North West.
